I am excited with the arrival of 2010!!!.
A very very very HappY NeW YeaR to you ALL!.

I thought I would post a song to usher in the New Year with a song that would hopefully cheer you all into new-found happiness … let’s wipe the slate and start again folks!. Let’s go for it!. Ha ha … can you sense I am happy?! Wow can’t wait!.

I have not posted for ages due to voice problems (Mr. Sinus et’al, and let me not go into the gory details!). Suffice to say that I feel somewhat comfortable now after doing some sensible things like breathing exercises … yes folks, I am learning to breathe again and my throat is free of puncturing coughs (for how long I do not know). OK, sorry for the long whinge here but you get the jist … I am alive and kicking … never say die!. (who’s a drama King now!).

Anyway this song is about a New Beginning for all the young and youthful. Maestro Ilayaraaja has his own style … after singing this song a few times I realised that it actually conformed to the Madhyamavathi scale and masterfully done by the one and ONLY IR. His BGMs are something else!. SPB has done a great job with his awesome voice in this evergreen number.

Without mentioning names, I want to thank the caring friends here who urged me to record and post after a long time and thanks a lot for your patience too!.

Anyway here goes my humble submission to usher in the New Year!. Recorded and posted today, on this memorable day!.
